The partnership between CVPR and RSIP Vision (as editor of Computer Vision News) has proven once again successful: the news, the technology and the people from CVPR2017, held in Honolulu Hawaii at the end of July, were published in a new series of CVPR Daily magazines. If you missed them, here they are:
First, it was an exceptional CVPR conference: a record attendance of more than 5,000 participants, with an exceptional technical program including lectures by many the world’s most renewed scientists, like Jitendra Malik who delighted the audience at the Robotics workshop with new insights from his recent work at Google.

CVPR Daily was read in more than 80 countries all over the world
We are much honored by the extremely warm welcome that our community has given to this new series of CVPR Daily: following the success of our magazines at CVPR2016, we enjoyed the kind availability of many scientists to share their work with us, as well as a very impressive readership both among CVPR participants and other readers abroad. In fact, one of the main virtues of our CVPR Daily is to keep informed whose who were not able to join the conference: in near real-time and regardless of time zones, everybody can read online what was presented at CVPR the day before and what is expected to be said on the following day. All is fresh content written on the same day exclusively for CVPR Daily.
Our marketing manager (and editor of CVPR Daily) Ralph Anzarouth confirms: “During the week of the conference, CVPR Daily was read in more than 80 countries all over the world.”
That is precisely the role conceived by RSIP Vision for all our magazines: promote communication within our community and effectively bridge between academia, industry and labs. We are proud of fulfilling this role and offering this gift to our community. Do you want to be part of this? Subscribe for free to our monthly magazine Computer Vision News!
We wish to thank the whole CVPR organization for trusting RSIP Vision for the second consecutive year and for being so kind with us: Nicole Finn and her team at CtoCevents do just everything we need to make the CVPR Daily a success. They are awesome and we love working with them. And before you ask, yes: we already agreed to contribute a new series of CVPR Daily magazines at CVPR2018 in Salt Lake City, Utah.
