Artificial Intelligence (AI) is changing many fields across science and across our society. In this talk, we discuss how AI is changing medicine and healthcare, in particular in the field of radiology. We focus on how AI can support the acquisition of medical images, as well as images analysis and interpretation. This can enable the early detection of diseases and support improved, personalized diagnosis. Furthermore, we discuss how AI solutions can be privacy-preserving while also providing trustworthy and explainable solutions for clinicians.
