MIDL Vision 2022

Hosting a physical conference again means our social events can be more exciting and interactive. Our Gala Dinner tonight is eagerly anticipated – it’s the first in three years and a much-missed date on the MIDL calendar. Before the closing ceremony tomorrow, we will be presenting our Best Paper awards , and I know everyone is desperate to find out who will win, so watch this space! Look out for our Best of MIDL special in the August issue of Computer Vision News, where we plan to feature several award winners). Finally, I (Qi) must acknowledge the hard work of the organizing team, who have gone above and beyond to present you with the best possible MIDL 2022 . I want to thank Ender and Bjoern and my fellow Program Chairs: Archana Venkataraman , Christian F. Baumgartner , and Shadi Albarqouni . They’re all such friendly and dedicated people to work with. I’d also like to thank our Technical Committee members, who handle the paper reviews and help moderate the oral sessions. The entire team has worked extra hard to make this an event to remember now that we’re back together again!
