MICCAI 2022 Daily – Wednesday
Khrystyna’s picks of the day (Wednesday): Khrystyna Faryna from Ukraine is a PhD student at the Computational Pathology Group of RadboudUMC, Nijmegen, The Netherlands. “ My Ph.D. research is focused on bridging the clinical integration gap for deep learning-based methods in computational pathology. Currently, I am working on improving the generalization of deep learning algorithms for histopathology image analysis under domain shift. In addition, I am interested in AutoML and AI interpretability. Our team is embedded within the Department of Pathology of a hospital (RadboudUMC). We closely collaborate with clinicians and research software engineers ” ORALS: (Oral 8) Fusing Modalities by Multiplexed Graph Neural Networks for Outcome … POSTERS: (Poster 7) Text-guided attention for improved polyp segmentation (Poster 7) SelfMix: A Self-adaptive Data Augmentation Method for Lesion Segmentation (Poster 7) Online Easy Example Mining for Weakly-supervised Gland Segmentation … (Poster 8) Estimating Model Performance under Domain Shifts with Class-Specific … (Poster 8) Explaining Chest X-ray Pathologies in Natural Language (Poster 8) Removal of Confounders via Invariant Risk Minimization for Medical Diagnosis For today, Wednesday 21 2 Khrystyna’s Picks DAILY MICCAI Wednesday “ This is my first year at MICCAI. I am excited to be able to attend it in-person, here in Singapore! ” UKRAINE CORNER “ I am particularly enthusiastic about machine learning competitions / challenges in biomedical image analysis . I think it's a great way to boost the development of solutions, ensure a fair comparison, and, nowadays also, reproducibility of machine learning methods. I am a support team member at grand-challenge.org , a platform frequently used for holding biomedical image analysis. We aim to help challenge organizers create better challenges and facilitate user interaction with a platform. ”
