Designing a calibrated model by itself is not a trivial task, so the team are currently working on developing a new method of training well-calibrated models . Teodora is the third Macedonian that we have interviewed over the years, following her friend Ivona Najdenkoska just yesterday and Jelena Frtunikj at CVPR19, as part of our Women in Science series. “ Macedonia is a very small but beautiful country, ” she tells us. “ The people are warm and nice. I’m always glad to go back there! ” Teodora reveals the most challenging part of this work for her was discussing the clinical relevance of the theoretical results.
