20 of problems, then the impact would be bigger. That’s what I tried to do. Maybe it’s not such a complicated message, but you can really see the impact. It’s more than just tuning a method. Isn’t living in Holland awesome? Oh, yes, yes! I love the Netherlands. On one side, the Netherlands and Delft University of Technology helped me with my PhD. I’m quite grateful for that. Also, the Netherlands has something that complementsme, which is that they are very organized. This is something that I surely need in my life. For all of our readers who are also unorganized, can you share a tip that has helped you? Well, my supervisor toldme once, “If you have a list of things you have to do, where do you start?” I told him, “I start with what I want to do.” He told me, “No,start with what you don’t want to do!” [ both laugh ] He’s saying to start outside of your comfort zone. Yes! [ laughs ] Do you think it works? Yes, I think it works. Besides that, sometimes you want to prioritize things that you think are important or because you like them. If you had a younger sister who wanted to study abroad, where would you send her? Would you send her to the Netherlands or another place? Probably to the Netherlands. It is difficult because of the language. Dutchis difficult. The good thing is people speak English here. That is nice. If I had the opportunity to suggest where to go, Women in Science DAILY Wednesday “No, start with what you don’t want to do!”
