2 DAILY Mo n d a y Women in Science 26 career. I had to choose my final degree to focus on. I had the opportunity to work in Madrid in one of the ESA (European Space Agency) sites with antennas. I had another small project, analyzing medical images and helping people with vision problems. My grandmother had some problems with her eyes. I thought, “I can help here!” This problem is close to me, so I chose that program. Medical images can be quite gory. Were you ever scared of blood? Yes, you see things of course. You see images that may not be so pleasant to the naked eye. I just see the image as information. I separate the images from the story behind it. It is probably a good “I was speechless. I was almost jumping!”
