Ralph: What is special about a student coming to the board ? Sebastian: What is special is that is does highlight that the Society is really trying to put the student at the core of it. We decided that now that we have this student board, we wanted to have a representative of the student at this meeting, which is a professional Society of very eminent professors coming from all across the globe. That was an opportunity for us to learn from her about what the student wanted from the Society, and it was an opportunity for her to bring back information to the student. A Word from Seb 13 MICCAI Daily: Tuesday Actually, we have a MICCAI Student Board Academia & Industry Event. What is different this year is that the students organize all of the extra activities, not only the tours, but also all of the sports events, which usually were organized by the Society.
