Shannon’s picks of the day: Shannon Toole is a senior undergraduate student at The George Washington University studying Biomedical Engineering. She is an active member of her sorority and also enjoys playing piano and assisting with student theatre productions. “I have spent the past year working with Dr. Murray Loew in the BME department on developing an algorithm that analyzes thermographic breast images to identify potentially tumorous regions.
