Songfang Han is currently a Postdoc at the University of California, San Diego (UCSD), in Hao Su’s lab. More than 100 inspiring interviews with successful Women in Computer Vision in our archive How did you get here, Songfang? I got a Bachelor's degree at Tongji University in Shanghai. After that, I went to Hong Kong and got my degree at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. During my PhD, I was a visiting scholar at UCSD at Professor Hao Su’s lab, and I had a great experience. After that, I applied for a Postdoc, and now I am a Postdoc in his lab. What is your work about? My work is mainly focused on 3D deep learning in computation and computer graphics. My past work includes multi-view stereo, generalizable single image reconstruction, 3D geometric processing, and efficient neural learning. What led you in that direction? This is a good question. It really took me some time to find my current research direction. My first paper was about rasterization.
