to the new beautiful things and places that they can enjoy in Seoul. We have a fantastic venue for the conference this year. What can you tell us about this place? The COEX is very unique. It’s in the center of the city and it’s huge, with many good facilities. Not only for the conference, but also Starfield Mall with its hundreds of stores, restaurants and cafes. There’s a cinema, aquarium and so much more here for you to enjoy. Also, in the nearby neighborhood, you will find a lot of very good restaurants and cafes. Now that you have organized such a big event, what advice would you give to the organizers of the upcoming conferences in 2020 and 2021? We proposed this event four years ago. At the time, we expected the number of attendees to be around 3,000, but it’s more than double that. The most difficult part in preparing for this event was that we had reserved very small spaces, but it grew so rapidly. I recommend future organizers prepare everything in terms of more people than they are now expecting! That is very important. Can you tell us more about this year’s Expo? It is huge and amazing. We have 56 sponsors and 72 exhibitors. The participants can enjoy new products and future technological advances from the companies involved. Also, the companies participating will have a chance to find qualified future employees. I hope everyone will find it a great opportunity. A final word for all the participants? This is an academic event, of course. The first thing you have to do is exchange ideas and learn a lot. New things. New ideas.
