The 2022 conference season is already well underway, and we are preparing for CVPR2022 next month, which will be back as an in-person event in New Orleans . This month, we are previewing with Danna Gurari another of its exciting workshops – VizWiz – which will educate and empower researchers to support the technological needs of people with vision impairments . Read all about it on page 4. Turn to page 8 for the second part of Marica Muffoletto ’s report on MediaPipe, a free, open-source framework for machine learning solutions. Written in C++ and able to be deployed anywhere, MediaPipe has already built a huge number of demos and projects. ISBI returned in March with a physical presence in Kolkata, India.
