It’s also very important because of my family and friends, as well as the beach and nice weather. I’m sometimes struggling with the bad weather. How long has your family been there? I cannot date back to more than my great grandfather, but I think all of them are from Canary Island. Maybe if you go even further beyond them, it could be that my ancestors come from Portugal because my secondsurname, Sosa, is originally from Portugal. My first surname comes from Gonzales, which is a very typical Spanish surname. In the past, it used to mean “son of Gonzalo”. I would say it’s one of the top ten most frequently used surnames in Spain. In other places you would be called Gonzalsen or Gonzalovic. Can you tell us something about the Canary Islands? Let me tell you about this, and I’m very proud to say it. In the Canary Islands, there is a particular type of bananas. Have you heard about this? No, never! They are called plátanos de Canarias. Banana is plátano in Spanish. We have a particular brand which is very special, very tasty. It compares in flavor to the bananas from South America. They are much more tasty.
