information, especially in computer science when things happen very, very fast. What attracts you to teaching? I think that I’m very good at helping others with my expertise. I also like doing research. I also like having the social community for my work. That can be through my colleagues or in conferences. I also think that I can bring knowledge to the new generation. The teachers that I like, who have done a lot of good in my professional career, I want to be like them somehow. It’s a way of being grateful to those who taught you. Those who taught me and who support me. During the PhD, I was doing different internships. It was far enough, but still close enough to my family. It was far and close at the same time. I wanted to find a job that fulfilled me but also allows me to visit my family with very reasonable costs. If I go far away, that could be even more tricky. Concerning the Canary Islands, I would say that something that has always touched me is that I have roots but also wings. I know where I come from.
