3D Slicer 19 Resampling If we save the transform obtained with the registration method, we can then re- apply it to another image using the Resample Image module. This is another tool offered by 3D Slicer which can be employed for many medical imaging purposes. Let’s say that, after we co-registered two scans of different modalities for the same patient, we now want to also register the segmentation mask only available for the moving image to the space of the fixed image. Once we load the fixed image and the segmentation, we can then pick this module and select the segmentation as Image to Warp and the fixed image as Reference Image . We can then click on the Apply button and wait for the Status to be completed. On the right side, the panel will show the Output image and through the drop-down menu you can change to visualise the other inputs and check if they seem to properly correspond to each other.
