Yes, for example, when I was a PhD, I heard from my advisor and professors at my university who encouraged me to pursue academia and go to postdoc. That was very impactful for me. After graduating with my PhD, I did two postdocs. The f irst postdoc was at the Baylor Col lege of Medicine in Radiology and Molecular Imaging Department. The second postdoc was at the University of Texas in Austin. Both of these positions helped me to pursue my research on optical imaging for biomedical appl ications.
