I want to go to work every day knowing that I wi l l have a good time and not just be bored and wanting to go home. Are you able to forget about what you are doing for work once you get out of the office in the evening? It depends on which problem I am working on and in what stage it is in. I usual ly think about it, but in a good way. I ’m not stressed about it. I enjoy it so I think about it. I decide to f ind new solutions. Usual ly, I ’m not very stressed about it. and what you want to achieve. about them as a black box. I l ike understanding what is going on. Why is it working? What is not working? What is it learning? What is it seeing in the image? That is what interests me a lot. Do you think by the end of your career, we wi l l know what is inside the black box? I think we are understanding more and more about that, yes, hopeful ly. I mean, it ’s mathematics. It is not magic. It ’s science! Can you tel l us a dream that you wish to real ize before the end of your career? I don’t think I have anything speci f ic. I want to enjoy what I ’m doing. I don’t want to end up in some project or company where I go to work because I have to. I want to go to work because I want to, because I f ind my projects interesting, and I want to do research on that. My whole goal is to enjoy my job, whatever it is.
