2 Summary Wo en in Computer Vision 8 challenge together is something that I’m missing here. Here, especially after the very latest presidential election, I feel like people are getting more and more separated. People are thinking a lot more strongly about themselves. I feel like the only positive that it will bring to America is for people to see each other as part of one world, one country, one grew up with, some of them are not that strongly practiced here. It was definitely a challenge to feel like I could finally be myself and also consider this place my home. It took, as I said, 18+ months to finally feel like I belonged to this society, too, and I’m at a spot where I don’t need to changemyself. I can just bemyself, still live with other people, and be extremely friendly to other people as well. What do you miss the most from Iran?You’re not allowed to say family and food, because that’s too easy! I feel like Iranian people have been through a lot of historical moments. They have gone through wars. They have gone through revolutions. They have been through stuff like that. It means that they are a lot more selfless. For example, with this corona pandemic that is happening, I feel like Iranians are really in this together. They have a sense of strength, that this is my country. Another person might not be a family member, but I still care about that person very, very strongly. If I have an extra piece of meat, I’m going to donate it to that person. I’m going to help that person. We have that sense of community.
