Before joining Maryland, I was at Cornell for my Bachelor's and Master's where I was advised by Kavita Bala and Bharath Hariharan, and worked on autonomous photography. For today, Thursday 22 2 Hadi’s Picks DAILY CVPR Thursday Highlights “ My work at CVPR this year is on post-capture refocus and depth of field control (and deblurring) using hardware that is already widely available on many smartphones! We train a model to combine the details from the ultra-wide and standard cameras on a smartphone to refocus, extend or reduce the depth of field, and achieve arbitrary defocus- control with a single capture. ” “ I'll be presenting this project in the poster session this afternoon at Poster #84, with the project title DC2: Dual-Camera Defocus Control by Learning to Refocus. I would be happy to tell you more about our work and would love to learn about your work! ” Posters I enjoy training for running ultra- marathons and triathlons, and hoping to complete a 100 miler running race soon!
