CVPR Daily - Friday

something nice for the community, and I did not see any reward or acknowledgment. But I am working with two great minds: Professor Muhammad Awais and Professor Josef Kittler. When we got the first rejection, I thought it was fine. Then we got another rejection, and I started to doubt myself and my work. Then these papers came out without acknowledging us. But it does not matter. At least it is out there. I felt this reassurance from my mentors. They said you should keep trying and keep proving yourself. Even if resources are limited, you can still put yourself out there, which is what we did by going even further. Our subsequent work has been accepted at a CVPR workshop. I am so thankful to my mentors. Now, I say, keep going and keep trying! Read more than 100 interviews with Women in Computer Vision! 25 DAILY CVPR Friday Sara Atito
