so limited, and now you are exposed to all of these things! I felt like I wanted more and more. That’s why after finishing, I was keen to start my PhD. During my PhD I did a lot of teaching as well. I still have this passion for teaching, but still, I am leaning more towards research now. You found two passions – teaching and research – but there is one more passion of yours that our readers do not know yet: you are a TikTok star! How do you know that? [ she laughs ] You have 10,000 followers! We want to know all about it. How did you build such a large following? You did some good research! It is difficult to hide a rockstar! [ laughs ] It is not to that degree. In fact, I always had a passion for acting. During the pandemic, we were not able to go anywhere. I was lucky because I was living inside the campus, and we were still allowed to go to the office, while other people had to stay at home. In Turkey? Yes, with special permission by my lovely supervisor, Professor Berrin Yanikoglu. I started this TikTok at the time and was doing the acting thing. It was just a way to release all the stress from sitting at home. I enjoyed it, I really enjoyed it. Were you able to destress? Yes! It worked like crazy because I like acting. I remember always going to the theater in primary and high school. I was acting there too. After some time, when we started to go outside, and the rules relaxed a bit, I moved away from it. That is why I am not doing TikToks anymore. We are missing out – I saw a few very funny videos! But most of it is in Arabic! Shway shway! Oh! Do you know Arabic?
